What is Beta?
The MF Global Avalon FX Pro 4.5 trading platform has been created with the needs of traders in mind. Designed for professional users and active retail traders, the newly-launched platform offers new and enhanced functionality including 1-click order execution, trading from charts, ribbon navigation, real-time automatic margin reset, setting stops and limits by pips, estimated profit/loss or the exact rate, etc.
The MF Global Avalon FX Pro 4.5 trading platform is built to accommodate unique Canadian regulatory margin requirements in real-time without compromising on its primary mission to provide quick and seamless connectivity to the global FX marketplace. A robust trading platform with innovative features, the Avalon FX Pro 4.5 will revolutionize the Canadian forex market, providing traders with a comprehensive suite of trading, built-in charting and technical analysis tools in an intuitive and easily customizable user interface.
An important process in the development of this product is beta testing. With beta testing you can trade on the Avalon FX Pro 4.5 trading platform on a trial basis and report any issues and platform enhancement recommendations prior to its official launch. Your comments will assist our development team in the overall quality assurance of this innovative trading platform. In the meantime, by participating in this beta test, you can familiarize yourself with the product. We greatly appreciate your time and input.
MF Global FX plans to release the beta version of the Avalon FX Pro 4.5 trading platform for demo accounts in April 2010. As this is a beta test, some features may be restricted or currently unavailable, but they will be added shortly.
Following a beta test with demo accounts and a demo contest, a beta test with live accounts will be offered to a select group of traders who will also be encouraged to send us their comments and suggestions . Once the platform is determined to be ready for general distribution it will be made available to the public . Traders who wish to participate in live account beta testing should complete this Screening Questionnaire to receive an account application.
Please be advised that while the main development phases have been completed and the beta version of the trading platform is stable, there is the possibility that not all functionality is intact and system failure may be possible. Electronic trading facilities are supported by computer-based component systems for the order routing and execution of trades. As with all facilities and systems, they are vulnerable to temporary disruption or failure.
When you undertake transactions on an electronic trading system, you will be exposed to risks associated with the system including failure of hardware or software, as such please be sure to review the execution risk disclosure. Beta testing is designed to pinpoint inherent flaws in the software and obtain valuable feedback from users for future enhancements. Clients who may experience technical difficulties during this period are encouraged to contact avalonsupport@mfglobalfx.ca. For this purpose participation in beta testing is completely voluntary.
Those who voluntarily participate in the beta test may qualify for certain promotions, cash bonuses, or other incentives.
