If you have already received Login and Password for your demo or live account and you require software download for the FX Trading Station II platform and charts:

1. 1. Click here to download the MF Global FX Trading Station II platform.

1. 2. Click “Run”.
2. 3. Follow the installation instructions.
3. 4. Once the program is fully installed, an “FX Trading Station II” icon will appear on your desktop, along with a new folder titled “FX Trading” in your Programs menu.
4. 5. Click on the desktop icon or the folder and a “Login” window will appear. Enter Login, Password and set Connection to “Real” for a live account or “Demo” for a demo account.

MF Global FX Trading Station J3

 

A web-based java platform provides access to your MF Global FX Trading Account when you are away from your PC. To download the software required to run the J3 Java platform, click here.

 

An alternative to the Windows-based FX Trading Station II platform is the Java Trading Station J3 platform which provides MF Global FX clients web-based access to their live accounts.

 

Click on Java Trading Station J3 to log in to your live MF Global FX Trading Account with your Username and Password.

 

Please note that the Java Trading Station J3 platform offers limited margin management capabilities. It does not display the information necessary for full margin monitoring of your account.

 

Java Trading Station J3 provides convenient web-access for placing a trade or checking order status when you are not at your PC where the MF Global FX Trading Station II platform is downloaded and installed. However, you should always log in to the Windows-based FX Trading Station II platform to fully monitor the margin status of your MF Global FX Trading Account.

Important Margin Information

 

Important margin information related to your MF Global FX Trading Account is displayed in the [Accounts] window on the MF Global FX Trading Station II platform:

 

[Usd Maint Mr] is Used Maintenance Margin. This is the margin deposit required to maintain existing positions.

 

[Usbl Maint Mr] is Usable Maintenance Margin. This is the margin deposit available for opening new positions. A Maintenance Margin Warning is triggered when this reaches zero.

 

[Usbl Maint Mr, %] is [Usbl Maint Mr] / [Equity] X 100%.

 

[Usd Mr] is Used Margin. This represents 10% of Used Maintenance Margin.

 

[Usbl Mr] is Usable Margin. All positions are automatically liquidated when this reaches zero.

 

[Usbl Mr, %] is [Usbl Mr] / [Equity] X 100%.

 

[MMR] is Maintenance Margin Requirement. This is the amount of Maintenance Margin deposit required for one lot of the applicable currency pair. If account equity falls below aggregate MMR, no new positions are allowed and the account enters into “liquidation only” mode. Please review the MF Global FX Margin Policy & Procedures.
